| 1702 | March 13th | Burial | William | Collins | William Collins of Margeretting in Essex, farmer, was buryed the 13th day of March 1702 and then Mr Sixsmith my curate sent a written certificate signed (?) by his son Daniel Collins, direct to the collorton (?) or one of them of this rates on marriages births etc. of the said argaretting. March 30th 1702 Affidavit was made that the said William Collin was buryed in woollen, & sent to Goody White of Morton to send it me. But she with too much care locked it up, & so forgot it, hen she sent her son occasionally to my house, so she sent it afterwards to me on the ninth day of April, 1702, & I sent a certificate thereof in writing under my hand to Henry Banks my churchwarden of the day it came to me, because it came too late by this forgetfulness aforesaid | Hl10 | |||||
